Alan Gayle

Alan's passion is to encourage people to find their 'emotional freedom' through increased self-awareness and self-belief. He believes that if we see the value in doing the self-development work that is necessary to heal our 'emotional wounds' and develop our self-confidence, we will take the steps that will lead us towards Inner-Peace, Fulfilment and Happiness.

Alan is the Commercial Director of a company that produces Portland Stone (Albion Stone) for the building industry. His parents moved to the UK in the '60s from Jamaican, he grew up in Windsor and is the youngest of their three sons.

Alan realises that self-love is only possible with self-knowledge and self-celebration. As an African-British man he has studied many of the most celebrated Afrocentric teachers and healers and he delights in sharing what he has learned. He has been a Workshop Facilitator with the Black male Forum, given many speeches (most notably at Find Your Voice in London) and has just co-authored his first book.

Through his workshops and public speaking engagements, he teaches why we need to find the courage to challenge much of the cultural and religious 'tradition' we have adopted as well as the proliferation of dis-empowering 'entertainment' we consume on a daily basis that feeds the negative side of our mind.

Alan's philosophy is simple: "The best way to heal the world is to heal ourselves". By taking small but important steps towards our emotional freedom ever day, we set an example that can become a force for positive change for those around us.
