Jim Glennon

Jim Glennon is a Chartered Institute Trainer with twenty years experience of designing and delivering training for large and small organisations in the commercial, voluntary and statutory sectors.
Jim had a difficult early childhood in orphanages and children's homes but eventually achieved a scholarship to Grammar school and went on to graduate from Liverpool University in 1994 with a Bachelor Degree in Education. He later achieved the Diploma in Training from the Institute of Training and Development and has since gained further qualifications in Counselling and Group work facilitation.
In a varied professional career, largely in the Voluntary Sector, he has had management responsibility for the delivery of training in the London Institute of Higher Education, London Friend Counselling, and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Jim is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, the U.K. professional association of experienced and qualified trainers working at a senior level in their field.
Jim contributes to a wide range of restorEgo training programmes and currently leads on the design and delivery of mental health training, crisis management and Train The Trainer.
Outside of restorEgo, Jim retains a small Telephone Training practice of his own working with senior managers to help staff and volunteers develop professional skills in helpline technique.
